Tips for Making Your Wedding Hair Shine One thing that every girl, across the board, seems to want is... shiny hair. And I'm sure you feel the same way. Who doesn't want their hair to glisten at every beam of light? I certainly do. I especially want this kind of hair on really important days...you know, like...a wedding. But lets face it...not all of us have naturally shiny hair. Some of us actually have pretty dull hair-lifeless, if you will. Maybe this sort of hair is acceptable for day to day wear, but it shouldn't be acceptable for weddings. You might feel like this is something that is out of your hands, but it's not! Here are some tips for getting your hair to shine that you should definitely take before the big day: 1. TRIM YOUR HAIR Did you know that split ends cause frizz? It's true. 2. DEEP CONDITION Deep conditioning really works! Try to do this at least once a week. 3. ADD VINEGAR OR LEMON JUICE TO YOUR RINSING WATER Yep. It may sound crazy, but it's not. If you have blonde hair, use lemon juice. If you have darker hair, use Apple Vinegar. Simple rinse your hair with a combination of these products and water. 4. HONEY Put honey in your hair after you shampoo. A teaspoon should be plenty. 5. USE HEAT ACTIVATED HAIR PRODUCTS A lot of girls neglect to notice how often they use heat products on their hair. From blow dryers to hair straighteners, many of us use heating products without even thinking twice. Using a heat activated shampoo (or other product) will permit your hair to take advantage of that heat rather than be hurt by it.
