When I write about wedding cakes it seems to strike a bit of a note with all you brides-to-be.

I think it's because wedding cakes offer so much visual fabulousness. It doesn't matter whether you're having one professionally made, or you're having cupcakes baked by a friend, or whether you're buying a supermarket cake and decorating it yourself.

Because whatever you do, your cake can reflect the mood of your day and be a centrepiece.
