Would You Wear an Heirloom Wedding Dress?

Bride Abigail Kingston took the something borrowed and something old to a whole new level. Bride-to-be Abigail Kingston is keeping with a family tradition by wearing her great-great grandmother, Mary Lowry's wedding dress from 1895.

"When I was younger, while I was playing piano at my parents' house, there was a framed picture of the first six brides wearing the dress, so I would think, 'Someday,'" Kingston told BuzzFeed Life.

Kingston told Buzzfeed Life that once she got engaged she told her mother Leslie she wanted to try to track down the dress. Her mother had also worn the dress so she was all for the idea.

According to Buzzfeed Life, the dress had remained the same throughout the generations, with the only real change made to the length of the cathedral length train and lace added in certain areas of the dress.
