What could be more charming? You're just married and your guests are throwing swirls of (biodegradable of course) confetti over the heads of you and your brideroom.

I LOVE the natural petal confetti grown by Shropshire Petals on the farm in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. But confetti for weddings shouldn't be restricted to a few moments after the ceremony. Think about it. You could use the pretty confetti petals to decorate your venue in all sorts of ways.

  • Surround a large candle centrepiece with rose confetti petals of a similar or contrasting colour
  • Make a wedding centrepiece out of champagne glasses filled with delphiniums and roses in your wedding colours
  • Use rose and delphinium petals to scatter on white tablecloths, creating a romantic effect
  • For countryside themed weddings, attach a wheat and lavender bundle to chair backs.
  • Decorate cupcakes with edible rose petals
  • Fill rustic teacups and bowls with large petals for a vintage feel
  • Create a heart out of pretty Raspberry Fool delphinum petals and place your wedding cake inside. (Like all the best ideas, this is actually very simple.)
  • Place lavender grain in small organza bags as a favour your guests can hang in their wardrobes and closets.
