Purchasing a Dress
Our dresses are available for order through our authorized retail partners or through our website https://dessy.com/. If you are a UK, EU or Australian consumer, our dresses are only available through your local authorized retailer. To find an authorized retailer near you, please visit our Store Finder.
If you are in New York City, you can visit our Showroom to view and try on our most popular styles, get measurement and sizing help, and browse our fabrics and colors in person. If you'd like to visit our NYC Showroom, please book an appointment online.
Sizing & Fit
Our dresses are available in sizes 00-30W. Most are available with extra length, unless otherwise noted in the description. Extra length is strongly suggested for anyone 5'7" or taller, particularly for full length styles.
To find your Dessy size, please view our size charts and watch our How-To Take Your Measurements video for step-by-step visual instructions. It is customary for most people to need minor alterations to get a perfect fit. If you are unsure about which size to order, please contact a Dessy Stylist.
Fabric Swatches & Extra Fabric
Swatches for all current Dessy Group fabrics are available directly to you through our Online Swatch Store.
We sell our fabrics, zippers, and trims by the yard. You can order fabric online or contact your retailer about prices and availability.
Dye-Lot
If your girls are wearing the same dress or dresses in the same fabric and color, it is ideal to have your entire bridal party place their dress orders at the same time to ensure dye-lot.
If your bridesmaids are choosing different style dresses/fabrics in the same color, keep in mind dye-lot variations can occur. The difference will not be drastic, but there may be a slight shading difference between styles.
Delivery
Special Order: Special Order dresses generally ship 8-9 weeks from the time you place your order.
Rush Delivery: Rush delivery is available on most special order styles, unless otherwise noted in the description. Rush orders ship approximately 7-8 weeks from the time you place your order. Please contact your local authorized Dessy Group Retailer or Dessy Stylist to inquire about a Rush Order. Or browse our In-Stock bridesmaid dresses, which ship in 1-3 business days.
In-stock/Returnable Merchandise: In-stock dresses, tuxedos and accessory orders ship 1-3 business days from date of order. These items are 100% returnable within 30 days of receiving your order (All fabric and swatch orders are final sale, non-returnable). View our Full Return Policy.
Important Note: We STRONGLY suggest that you order your dress so that you receive it at least 2 weeks prior to your event date. You are more than welcome to inquire about the possibility of placing a rush order by contacting a Dessy Stylist.
Special Order Dresses vs. In-Stock Dresses
Special order dresses are ordered through a Dessy retailer or https://dessy.com and are cut to order. Meaning, they are not put into work until you place your order. Special order dresses are delivered approximately 8-9 weeks from the confirmed order date, and all sales are final.
In-stock/Returnable dresses are stocked by Dessy for immediate delivery. In-stock dresses ship immediately, and are available through authorized Dessy retailers and https://dessy.com. In-stock dresses are 100% returnable. View our Full Return Policy.
